Ubuntu Server 10.04 LTS was officially announced by Canonical on April 29, 2010 and it will be supported with security patches and software updates until April 2015. Users can download the operating system as CD-size ISO images for the 32-bit and 64-bit architectures, allowing them to write them to CD discs or USB flash drives in order to boot. Ubuntu Cloud Server is an open source Linux operating system designed to be used as a personal cloud server. It is based on the well known Ubuntu Linux distribution and recognized as an official Ubuntu flavor, distributed by Canonical. Designed for Amazon EC2. It can be easily modified, re-bundled and uploaded to an Amazon EC2 cloud server. Linux downloads (Ubuntu) PostgreSQL is available in all Ubuntu versions by default. However, Ubuntu 'snapshots' a specific version of PostgreSQL that is then supported throughout the lifetime of that Ubuntu version. The Ubuntu Server image is much smaller, you can install flavours of the Ubuntu Desktop on top of it, it gives you access to the Ubuntu CLI and by extension, all of the latest open source. Ubuntu Server works on the Raspberry Pi 2, 3 and 4.
